So, it's that time again...
.... a new year....
.... a new perspective on life, on myself, on others. I tried really hard to post last year. but the truth is it never happened. I went through a lot though. Another year in San Antonio, I have now been here for almost 2 years. Titus has grown. She will be 2 in October. I will be another year older this year. I happened to get a boyfriend last year, but the way things went it just did not work out. Some people make great friends and great more than friends... others of us just make great friends and that's where it ends. So, here I am 2013 and still single. I enjoy my life. Still struggling health wise. I have what they have decided to call non-serum dependent rheumatoid arthritis. Which in english means I have symptoms that appear to be rheumatoid arthritis but I have no blood work that can prove it. I love Doctors and there incessant need to have everything in a nice neat little box so that it all makes sense. Ok so there might have been a hint of sarcasm in my last sentence....

09 Feb 2012- with MD Fetchick for overall general joint pain- His prognosis take Ibuprofen, lab work taken.
10 Feb 2012 - My Birthday
28 Feb 2012 - with MD Fetchick - same as above - Decision take another anti-inflammatory and put on PT profile, more lab work drawn.
14 Mar 2012 - PT is closing in and profile was never submitted, called for telephone consult to get PT profile submitted.
24-29 Mar 2012- Jonathan Visited
10 Apr 2012- with MD Fetchick- still having really bad joint pain. He puts me on steroids. More lab work drawn.
17 Apr 2012- telephone consult put in to hand surgeon, MD Chambers.
18 Apr 2012 - with MD Chambers, injected my right hand with steroids, because it gotten to the point where it was too difficult to write, type and even use my hand.
28 Apr 2012- Caleb and I started dating
02 May 2012- Neurology appt to check to see what is wrong with numbness in all fingers on right hand except for pinky and excessive swelling and inability to make a fist with either hand and especially worse in the right.
07 May 2012- Telephone consult- found out MD Fetchick no longer works for the Air Force given a new PCM.
09 May 2012- Rheumatology appt with MD Higgs. He has decided that I have non-serum dependent rheumatoid arthritis and more lab work drawn.
16 May 2012- MD Kastern- doctor that has no idea what to do with me or how to help. Orders wrist braces for my hands due to such bad pain at night in hands.
19 -24 May 2012- Went home
30 May 2012- MD Denard- gynecology- put on birth control meds, to help regulate hormones, to see if that helps decrease the swelling issue.
31 May 2012- Melanie came to visit.
04 Jun 2012 - Got PPD drawn
05 Jun 2012- MD Higgs, put on steroids and plaquenil.
27 Jun 2012 - MD Cunningham Gastroenterologist. not able to keep any food down. Constantly going up or down far too quickly. Nothing to do at this point, but wait and watch.
08- 28 Jul 2012- @ C-STARS in Balitmore. felt great the whole time.
11 Aug 2012- Brewers vs Astros Baseball game
18 Aug 2012- Brian Regan Show
23 Aug - 02 Sep 2012- Home with Caleb and to WA
08 Oct 2012- Rheumatology Appt- stopped taking plaquenil and steroids

31 Dec 2012 The Year is over... Not too shabby
Overall, I think I had a pretty good year. Learned a lot and saw a lot. glad to have the chance to start a new. Goals for this year.... eat healthier, figure out arthritis situation, get into flight nursing if it is God's will. Work out more. Train Titus more. Find new apartment. Study my Bible more and start by reading Psalms a book a week and meet with my accountability buddy once a week.
