After work I was invited by my friend to come out for a singles dance night at her church. At the dance I got hit on by a really awkward 40 year old. I got a chicago style hotdog, after I turned around to go sit down and eat, a guy asks me for my food ticket, I couldn't quite understand what he was saying so I looked at him, he said it again and I kept looking at him kind of funny. Then another guy said, "He's asking for your food ticket." I kind of laugh walk away and go to get something to drink. The one who explained what the other guy was saying followed me and asked me if I go to church here. I told him no and that I came with a friend, he then asked where I go to church, so I told him and then he asked me how long have I been a christian. When I told him I accepted christ into my heart when I was 5 years old. He looked at me funny and then said, "so you've never repented?" At that I decided to leave and go sit down at a table to eat my food. I can't help but wonder why do I always attract the weird ones. I always attract the ones I don't want, and the ones I want to attract I seem to repel. :( One day I will attract the right one... Or at least I hope I will. :)

I will fear no evil...(old post)
Monday the 21st ...
Back to the work grind... I had a chill day at work. After work I went to MNBS, it was a very interesting talk tonight. We discussed Romans 8. I really love the Bible Study. It is so great to hang out with people who just love the Lord and love digging into his word. I really enjoyed today. I had a patient today that had come from theater and was not looking so good. He had a bible verse on his chest that was Psalm 23:4
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me."
I loved the verse and I told him that. He then asked me to read it to him. He asked me what other verses I knew and I just started reciting as many verses as I could think of. He asked to see the Chaplain, and I told him sure. I also asked him if he wanted me to pray with him. He said yes, so I did. It was short, I know it was not eloquent, but it was the first time that I ever prayed with a patient. The Lord is amazing. These men are amazing, the work I am doing is so cool. I am so thankful for the impact that I can make in people's lives. Lord, I pray that you watch over all these amazing men as Thanksgiving is coming up, I pray for them and for their families.
Chillin' and watchin' Santa Paws... (old post)
Friday the Nov 25, 2011...
So, today is black friday, known as the biggest shopping day of the year, also known as the best day to stay in and sleep in and don't come out of your apartment. Today was another nice relaxing day with Titus of chilling at home and taking naps. In the evening, we went over to KS's apartment to hang out with Tucker a boston terrier of which she was babysitting and her 2 cats. We ended up watching Santa Paws, the night was slightly ironic, due to it was like being in a zoo, while watching a movie about dogs, and it now after Thanksgiving so we can watch christmas movies now. Yay!! I love the Christmas Season!
